Посоветуйте, пожалуйста, инициализационную строку в таком случае:
соединение либо не получается вообще, либо при скорости примерно 30667 неактивно.

Это хорошо, что помогло, но всё-таки хотелось бы взглянуть на статистику работы после того, как Вы прописали новую строку инициализации. Вдруг там ещё что-то можно поправить/улучшить...
